Privacy policy

Fiesta Lab (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the “Contacts - Phone Dialer” mobile application (the “App”).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and what rights you have.

1. Information We Collect Automatically

While you use the App, we may collect certain non-personally identifiable information automatically to ensure the App functions correctly and to improve your experience. This includes:

  • Device Data: Information such as your device model, unique device identifiers, and operating system version.
  • Network Status: Your connection type (e.g., Wi-Fi or cellular) and network status.
  • Usage Telemetry: Anonymous data regarding crash reports, session lengths, and which features you interact with.

Information You Provide

Our App is designed to function entirely without requiring you to create an account or submit personally identifiable information, such as your name or email address. To maximize your privacy, all data processing, file management, and recovery actions are performed securely and exclusively on your local device.

2. How We Use Your Data

We collect and use your information strictly for the following operational purposes:

  • Core Functionality: To operate the dialer and manage your contacts seamlessly.
  • Interface Display: To render your address book, call logs, and incoming/outgoing call screens.
  • Call Management: To facilitate making, receiving, and managing your phone calls.
  • App Improvement: To analyze anonymous usage trends and resolve bugs or crashes.

3. Required App Permissions

To deliver a seamless and fully functional messaging experience, Contact requests specific device permissions. Here is a detailed breakdown of what we need and why:

  • Phone and Call Logs (READ_PHONE_STATE, CALL_PHONE, READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS, MANAGE_OWN_CALLS): These permissions power the complete dialer experience. They allow you to place and receive phone calls, check your call history, and control active calls. We also need to detect call states to offer features like a post-call screen.
  • Contacts (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS): This permission is necessary for the app's core functionality. It enables us to show your contact list, add new contacts, and modify current ones right within the application.
  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): We utilize this to deliver crucial alerts, such as missed call reminders or active call updates.
  • System Display and Interaction (USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT, DISABLE_KEYGUARD, SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): These permissions are vital for showing the incoming call interface, particularly when your screen is locked or you're navigating another app. This guarantees you can effortlessly answer calls at any time.
  • Internet: Might be utilized to show advertisements or gather anonymous usage data to help us enhance the application.
  • WAKE_LOCK: Prevents the phone from sleeping during a call to ensure an uninterrupted experience.
  • Vibrate: Supplies haptic feedback for calls and incoming notifications.

4. Data Security, Storage, and Sharing

Safeguarding your privacy is our top concern.

  • On-Device Storage: All of your sensitive data, including texts, MMS, and contacts, is securely kept on your mobile device. We possess zero access to this personal information.
  • Zero External Sharing: We strictly do not sell or distribute your personal data to outside entities. Because everything is processed on your device, your private data never leaves it via our app.

5. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. However, we do use trusted third-party services for analytics and monetization. These services may collect anonymized device and usage data:

  • Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): Helps us monitor app performance, track crashes, and send push notifications. All data is anonymized. Firebase Privacy Policy
  • Google AdMob: Delivers in-app advertisements. AdMob may use device info and your Google Advertising ID to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized tracking in your Android device settings. Google Ad Policies
  • Meta Audience Network: Used alongside AdMob for ad delivery. Meta may collect basic interaction data to optimize ad placement.  Facebook Privacy Policy
  • Information About Apps Installed on Your Device
Our advertising partners — Google AdMob and Meta (Facebook) Audience Network — may collect information about other apps installed on your device for ad personalization, fraud prevention, and measurement. We do not directly collect or transmit this data ourselves; it is processed solely by these third-party SDKs under their own privacy policies. You can opt out by resetting your Advertising ID in your device settings.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Our App provides options to unlock premium features, remove advertisements, or access additional tools through in-app purchases and subscription plans:

  • Secure Payments: Every transaction is securely processed by Google Play Billing. We never collect, store, or have access to your credit card details or Google login credentials.
  • Managing Subscriptions: Subscriptions renew automatically. You have full control to manage or cancel them at any time via your Google Play account settings. If you cancel, your premium access will remain active until the current billing cycle ends.
  • Data Access: To activate your premium features, Google only shares non-sensitive status updates with us (for example, verifying if a subscription is valid or renewed).
  • Refund Policy: All refund and cancellation requests are governed by Google Play’s official refund policies and must be handled directly through your Play Store account.
  • Confidentiality: Your purchase history is strictly confidential and is never shared with third parties, except as required for payment validation by Google.
  • Governing Terms: All transactions are subject to Google Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

8. Security and Personal Data Privacy

Safeguarding your privacy is our top priority. We have implemented strict measures to ensure your data remains secure:

  • Zero Personal Data Collection: We do not harvest, track, or store personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, or private contact details.
  • Anonymized Analytics & Advertising: Any data gathered through third-party services is fully anonymized. This information is used strictly to resolve bugs, enhance app performance, and support the app's monetization.
  • Industry-Standard Security: We partner exclusively with highly trusted, industry-leading SDK providers (including Google, Firebase, and Meta) that adhere to stringent, globally recognized security and privacy protocols.
